Volunteering Opportunities

Volunteer with TADComputer related positions:

Your computing, technical expertise or enthusiasm can be harnessed to helping those with disabilities through voluntary work with the TAD/Gale Computer Support Service (CSS). We are looking for volunteers to fill the following positions:

  • Technician - trouble shoot and repair computers
  • Packer and Dispatcher
  • Delivery and installation
  • Client support

Trades and crafts:

TADNSW builds devices for people with disabilites from all age groups. As a result, we require a volunteer work force with a wide range of skills:

  • Engineering and Design
  • Electronics
  • Drafting
  • Woodworking
  • Painting
  • Plastics
  • Welding and metal work
  • Other skills

Fundraising and Development

Volunteers are needed to do advocacy work by making presentations to various groups to inform the general public of TADNSWs services. We also need volunteers for our mailouts, exhibits, events and also for administrative tasks.

Governance

We are always interested in volunteers with professional and corporate skills, particularly those with previous not-for-profit experience to assist on our Board, support for our senior management staff, financial services and strategic marketing and communications.
