Bicycle Friendly Business Award
The Cycling Promotions Fund, who promote the benefits of cycling to people of all ages has given an Honorable Mention to TAD for their FREEDOM WHEELS Modified Bike Program.
Best Capital Campaign Award
The FIA award acknowledges the hard work and effort from TAD's board, staff and volunteers, to realise TAD's dream of having their own premises, after more than 30 years housed at Ryde's Royal Rehabilitation Centre Sydney.
Best Fundraising Marketing Award
The Fundraising Institute of Australia chose TAD as the winner of Best Fundraising Marketing for its marketing strategy called “My First Bike”.
Most Outstanding Fundraising Project - Highly Commended
FIA Judges at the annual awards, presented at a gala dinner in Melbourne, also gave TAD a “Highly Commended” award for “the Most Outstanding Fundraising Project in 2006
Givewell Best Practice Award
In December 2003, TADNSW won the inaugural Givewell Best Practice Charity Award in recognition of its best practices in governance, transparency and accountability.
